Why? Well, there’s the fact that he has a twin brother, Kaoru, and is never seen apart from him. Hikaru is the older twin out of the brothers, though sometimes, it’s hard to tell that. Hikaru is usually the one that leads his younger twin brother into trouble. He’s often loud and obnoxious, and his actions are “one level meaner than Kaoru’s.” Because of his close relationship with his brother, it was always “us against them”, and he often didn’t talk to many people. However, he is starting to open up to people more, even if none of them will replace his brother, even though he still needs to learn the basics of personal interaction. The Hitachiin family is extremely wealthy. Their mother is a famous fashion designer, while their father is an executive for a software development company. Because of his ridiculously wealthy upbringing, Hikaru is fascinated with “commoner” things such as instant coffee and mass production. Because of this ignorance, he often has many misconceptions about the middle class living style. Hikaru’s power consists of being able to move objects with his mind, although if he uses it too much, he ends up getting a huge migraine. This power enables him to easily play tricks on people by taking their things and placing them somewhere else. |

Kaoru Hitachiin: Hikaru's twin - the two have been nearly inseparable since, well, ever. If any mischeif has occurred, it's because of these two. There have been some small fights, but because of their close bonds, they are almost always resolved within the hour, and if not, within the day. Hikaru can’t live without Kaoru, and vice-versa. Ginny Weasley: Hikaru met the redhead through some journal entries following a couple pranks. He took an interest in her, and it quickly developed into something more. Hikaru doesn't understand his feelings, however, he only knows that she is one of the only people that are apparent in his little world. Fred and George Weasley: Hikaru met Ginny's older twin brothers while in England, and thinks the other pair of twins are an absolute riot. Mass destruction shall ensue. |
